The Whitehall girls basketball team cruised past Oakridge 50-32 on Thursday in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Vikings trailed 7-6 after the opening quarter, then went outscored Oakridge 17-9 during the second stanza to take a 23-16 halftime lead.

Oakridge cut the deficit to 25-23 heading into the final quarter, but the Vikings closed out the game with a 25-9 fourth quarter run.

The Vikings were led by Karina Wade with 14 points, while Kate Martin added 10 and Karoline Glamzi chipped in with 10 along with pulling down seven rebounds.

Whitehall is now 11-9 overall and 10-4 in league play.
