Over the last weekend, the girls Michigan High School Athletic Association bowling regional tournaments took place at various locations.
In order to qualify for the finals on March 6-7 at various locations, the teams needed to finish top three or an individual needed to finish in the top 10.
The lone area qualifier in Division 1 was Alexis Thompson of Grand Haven who finished fourth overall with a score of 1217.
In Division 2, the Mona Shores team finished third with a score of 3329, just behind Cedar Springs with 3345 and Northview with 3431.
The Whitehall team took home a regional title with a score of 3076, out pacing Big Rapids who scored 3039. Karli VanDuinen led the Vikings with a score of 1174 which won the individual regional title.
Both Kent City and Ravenna qualified in Division 4 with Ravenna finishing second with a total of 2943 and Kent City third with a total of 2943.
The following is a list of bowlers who qualified for the state finals on March 6-7 at various locations. Bowlers who finished top 10 will have their place and score listed.
Division 1
Grand Haven: Alexis Thompson (4th, 1217).
Division 2

Reeths-Puffer: Isabella Behling (2nd, 1121).
Fruitport: Jessica Plichta (3rd, 1114)
Division 3
Whitehall: Karli VanDuinen (1st, 1174), Jayden Sheehy, Elex Baun, Katie Ferris, Molly Karchinski
Orchard View: Kylie Douglas (5th, 986)
Montague: Olivia Johnston (3rd, 1010)
Division 4
Ravenna: Amaya Guzman (2nd, 1001), Morgan Lockhart (7th, 931), Heidi Kloostra, Emily Linck, Mae Mabrito, Liberty Willick
Kent City: Peytin Brake, Lauren Witt, Abby Pecynski, Madi Brake, Carissa McCullough, Mia Schwartz
