Lauren Ross’ 29-point performance leads Reeths-Puffer to the Div. 1 district finals

Lauren Ross scored a game-high 29 points to lead Reeths-Puffer over Grand Haven 52-45 on Wednesday in Division 1 district semifinal action.

Ross also collected eight rebounds for the Rockets while Trina Lewis pitched in with eight points and Sophia Hekkema added seven points.

The Bucs were led by Jolee Houle with 18 points, while Zoe Spoelman and Alyssa Hatzel each added eight.

Grand Haven finishes its season with a 10-11 overall record.

The Rockets improved to 19-2 on the season and advance to play Muskegon in the Division 1 district finals on Friday at Mona Shores.
