The Whitehall boys basketball team ended its regular season with a 44-36 win over Fruitport on Thursday in non-league play.

The Vikings led 8-6 after the first quarter, 24-15 at halftime and 33-25 through three quarters.

Red Watson led Whitehall with 14 points, five rebounds and four steals. Dayton Cole added eight points and 10 rebounds, while Addison Bluhm scored nine.

The Trojans were paced by Gavin Fisher with 14 points.

The Vikings improved to 10-10 on the season and 7-7 in league play, while Fruitport fell to 10-10 overall and 5-7 in conference action.

MONTAGUE 59, BELDING 36- Logan Metcalf paced the Wildcats with 19 points and nine rebounds while Tate Stine had 10 points.

Montague led 17-9 at the end of the opening quarter, 28-19 at halftime and 42-28 heading into the final stanza.

The Wildcats finished their regular season 10-10 overall and 7-7 in league play.

GRAND RIVER PREP 51, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 37- The Crusaders trailed 10-9 after the opening quarter, 25-20 at halftime and 38-27 at the end of the third frame.

Jared Dugener led MCC with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

The Crusaders are now 9-11 on the season and finished 4-6 in league play.

KENT CITY 49, NEWAYGO 36- Max Hudson paced the Eagles with 18 points.

Kent City led 14-12 at the end of one stanza, 25-20 at halftime and 36-28 through three quarters.

The Eagles end their season with a 12-8 overall record.

GRANT 64, HOLTON 61- The Red Devils were led by Nathan Slowik with 20 points, while Aidan Poling had 14 and Lukas Ramaekers had 12.

Holton enters district play with a 13-7 overall record.
