Fruitport picks up dominant 5-1 conference victory over Allendale on Monday night

The Fruitport boys soccer team used a dominant offensive performance on Monday ngiht to defeat Allendale 5-1 in an O-K Blue Conference matchup.

Fruitport held a 2-1 lead at halftime after getting goals from Sean Gieske and Ryan Laus.

Gieske scored another goal in the second half while Carter Golden and Brock Veltman each netted a goal to give the Trojans a win.

Picking up assists for Fruitport were Henry Swartz, Cameron Weaver, Bode Anspach, Golden and Laus.

Justin Laus had nine saves to help Fruitport improve to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
