Fruitport soccer team improves to 1-1 with an impressive non-league win over North Muskegon

Ryan Laus scored two goals to lead the Fruitport soccer team to an impressive 5-1 non-conference victory over North Muskegon on Thursday.

Cody Mayette and Carter Golden each contributed a goal and an assist for Fruitport while Brock Veltman added a goal.

Jackson Rebone had an assist for the Trojans, who are 1-1 on the season.

Fruitport had 21 shots on goal. Goalie Justin Laus got the win, stopping five North Muskegon shots.
