The Fruitport volleyball team went 1-2 on Monday night in the Battle on the Boardwalk, defeating Spring Lake but falling to both Grand Haven and Mona Shores.
Brooke Seiplinga led the Trojans with 20 kills while Jenna VanderVelde led with 58 assists, 49 digs and five aces.
Sydney Woods added 34 digs and 17 kills for Fruitport.
The Trojans are now 2-8 overall on the season.
