Fruitport volleyball team storms all the way back from a two-set deficit, beats Allendale in five

The Fruitport volleyball team battled back from a two-set deficit to beat Allendale 3-2 on Tuesday in an O-K Blue conference thriller.

Allendale won the first two sets 27-25 and 25-20. Fruitport stormed back and won the last three 26-24, 25-14 and 15-6.

Sydnee Woods paced the Trojans with 15 kills while Kylie Rudolph finished off 12 kills. Jenna VanderVelde dished out 39 assists. 

Defensively, Sarah Zielinski had 38 digs while Rudolph finished the night with 20. Brooke Sieplinga had two blocks for the Trojans.

Fruitport improved to 3-10 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
