The Kent City volleyball team opened its season with a conference win over Holton in three sets. The Eagles win 25-29, 25-11 and 25-12 to secure the conference win.

Jenna Harrison was the standout for Kent City, with a team high 18 digs, 18 points and 13 assists, while notching two aces as well. Jasmine Weeks had a team leading three aces to go with 11 digs. Hannah VanderLugt chipped in seven kills and Erica Bull had a team best four blocks.
