Oakridge soccer team now 3-0-2 after tying Grand Rapids Covenant Christian 1-1 on Friday

The Oakridge Eagles and the Grand Rapids Covenant Christian Chargers tied 1-1 in a non-conference soccer matchup on Friday night.

After a scoreless first half, Covenant Christian scored about four minutes after halftime. Oakridge’s Victor Contreras then put in a goal with an assist from Alonzo Rodriguez to tie the game up.

Goaltender Spencer Anderson had 11 saves for the Eagles

Oakridge is now 3-0-2 on the season.
