The Whitehall volleyball team kept pace with the leaders of the West Michigan Conference with a 3-0 sweep of Shelby on Tuesday night.

The Vikings won by scores of 25-23, 25-15 and 25-23. 

Charley Klint paced the Vikings with 12 kills while Maggie Evans added seven. Evans also finished the night with five aces and 31 assists. 

Defensively, Ryleigh Mott led Whitehall with 28 digs. Baker and Camryn Evans both finished with 18 digs while Evans had 13. 

The Tigers were paced by Kendall Zoulek with seven kills while. Lauren Dean totaled 15 assists. Defensively Morgan Weirich had 22 digs while Courtney Brown recorded 20.

The Vikings improved to 8-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play. 

MONTAGUE 3, OAKRIDGE 0 – The Wildcats defeated the Eagles to stay unbeaten in the West Michigan Conference. The set scores were 25-11, 25-14, 25-17. 

Reilly Murphy paced Montague with 18 kills while Ally Hall finished with 13. Raegan Murphy facilitated the offense by dishing out 38 assists.

Defensively, Taylor Netcott paced the Wildcats with 23 digs, Morgan Netcott had 20 and Hall chipped in with 10.

Emma Blackburn led Oakridge with five kills and Hayden Ruel dished out 13 assists. Defensively, the Eagles were led by Emma Fri with 12 digs and Saidee Raap with five blocks.

Montague is now 17-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play. 

LAKES 8

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 3, MANISTEE 0 – The Warriors swept Manistee to stay undefeated in Lakes 8 conference play. The set scores were 25-13, 25-17, 25-12.

Kyla Wiersema paced the Warriors with 11 kills while Taylor Folkema finished with five. Kendall Young served four aces and Folkema added three. Young also dished out 25 assists. 

Defensively, Young led the way with five digs and two blocks. 

WMC is now 14-5 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.

LUDINGTON 3, ORCHARD VIEW 0 – Orchard View lost by scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-12.

Aleya Jones stood out for OV with 10 digs and four assists.

Orchard View is now 4-7 overall and 0-2 in the Lakes 8.

O-K GREEN

MONA SHORES 3, WYOMING 0 – The Sailors  won by set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.

Bri Wade led Mona Shores with seven kills and Ava Dunn added six. Grace Norris set the offense up with 14 assists.

Defensively, Brooke LeRoux and Holli Brus had seven and six digs, respectively.

Mona Shores improved to 10-1 overall and 5-0 in conference play.

REETHS PUFFER 3, GRAND RAPIDS UNION 1 – The Rockets won the first two sets 25-15, and 25-23, dropped the third 25-23, then sealed things up with a 25-15 win in the fourth.

Madi Kunnen led the Rockets with six kills while Liv Depies had four. Beth Jordan totaled three aces and 18 assists. 

Defensively, Kunnen paced the Rockets with 13 digs. 

The Rockets improved to 6-5 overall and 4-1 in conference play. 

ZEELAND EAST 3, MUSKEGON 0 – The Big Reds lost in straight sets 25-6, 25-7 25-9.

No stats were reported from the match. 

O-K BLUE

SPRING LAKE 3, ALLENDALE 0 -The Lakers swept the Falcons to pick up their first O-K Conference Blue victory. The set scores were 25-13, 25-21, and 27-25.

Alicia Mumby paced the Lakers with 18 kills while Kalli Lewkowski had 10. Meah Bajt served up three aces while Mumby and Kyla Kobylak each added two. Kobylak also dished out 18 assists and. Kayleigh Hood added 15.

Defensively, Kendra Keift had 20 digs for Spring Lake while.Mumby recorded three blocks. 

The Lakers are now 2-8 overall and 1-3 in conference action.

UNITY CHRISTIAN 3, FRUITPORT 0 – Unity Christian won by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-12.

Sydney Woods led Fruitport with three kills and 23 assists. Kylie Rudolph had 11 digs defensively.

Fruitport is now 3-11 overall and 1-4 in conference play.
