Ryan Laus had an afternoon to remember on Saturday, scoring four goals to lead Fruitport to a 9-1 win over Orchard View.

The Trojans improved to 3-1-1 on the season with the win.

Ryan Laus added an assist with his four goals in the offensive showcase. Zach Schaefer, Sean Gieske, Mason Smith, Jackson Rebone and Christian Swiatek each added a goal, while Schaefer, Gieske, Bode Anspach and Carter Golden each had an assist.

Justin Laus was in the goal for Fruitport and made two saves. 

MONA SHORES 2, GRAND HAVEN 1 — The Sailors improved to 4-2 overall including a 3-2 conference record with a win over Grand Haven Saturday. 

Diego Godoy opened the scoring for Mona Shores with an unassisted goal. Easton Lopez scored the winning goal off an assist from Abe Freye.

WHITEHALL 3, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 0 — The Vikings scored seven seconds into the match and didn’t look back in the shutout win.

Casey Lownds scored the opening goal off an assist by Parker Jacobs. Isaac Tenbrink and Denver Aguirre added goals for Whitehall. Sam Stevens manned the net and made six saves.

The Vikings improved to 5-0 with the win. 

SHELBY 1, FREMONT 1 — The Tigers and Packers battled to a draw on Friday night, leaving both teams still undefeated on the year.

Shelby scored first on a goal from Joseph Hayes. Fremont scored just minutes later to tie the game and neither team was able to score the rest of the way. 

LUDINGTON 1, REETHS-PUFFER 1 — The Rockets and Orioles both scored on penalty kicks in a 1-1 draw on Saturday. 

Colby Peplinksi scored Ludington’s goal, while Jaxon Carpenter scored for R-P. Tile Marrison made six saves for the Orioles.

LUDINGTON 6, BIG RAPIDS 0 — In their second match of the day, the Orioles shut out Big Rapids for a win to improve to 3-3-2. 

Kyle Wendt scored two goals, while Colin Anders, Brendan Anderson, Connor Ward and Parker Wendt added one. Colby Peplinksi, Chazz Rohrer, Nick Patterson, Connor Ward, Bruce Thompson and Connor Wendt had assists. 

Tiler Marrison had three saves and Kyle Wendt had one. 

REETHS-PUFFER 1, BIG RAPIDS 1 — The Rockets outshot Big Rapids 29-6, but finished with a 1-1 draw. Jaxon Carpenter scored the lone goal for R-P on a penalty kick. 

The Rockets are 1-2-4 on the season and 1-2-1 in the O-K Green.
