Kent City’s defense picked off five passes and the offense scored often as the Eagles dominated in 56-0 blowout victory over White Cloud on Friday night in a CSAA clash.

The Eagles got off to a fast start, scoring 24 unanswered points in the first quarter. By halftime, the Eagles held a 56-0 lead and cruised in the second half.

Kyle Larson finished the evening a perfect 6-of-6 passing for 97 yards while Webb Longcore finished the evening with 10 carries for 99 yards and three touchdowns.

Defensively, Kyle Montarusso finished the evening with three interceptions and three tackles. Bradley Brooks picked off a pair of passes and recorded four tackles of his own.

The Kent City defense held the Indians to -29 yards rushing, and 18 total yards. 

The Eagles are now 4-0 and take on the Lakeview next Friday with a chance to win the CSAA Silver Conference outright.
