Ludington improved to 3-1 on the season with a 21-7 victory over Godwin Heights on Friday night.

Brad Mesyar opened the game for the Orioles with a 10-yard pass to Jake Plamondon, giving Ludington a  7-0 lead.

Later in the first quarter, Plamondon scored on a one-yard run to make it 14-0 in favor of the Orioles.

The second quarter was scoreless and the halftime score was 14-0.

Stephen Weinert punched in a five-yard touchdown run to give Ludington a 21-0 lead after three quarters.

Godwin Heights scored in the fourth quarter to cut the Oriole lead to 21-7 which was ultimately the final score.

Plamondon led the Ludington offense with two touchdowns on the night, as well as six receptions for 90 yards, six tackles, and three extra points. 

Meysar threw for 160 yards on 12 completions. Weinert caught three passes for 26 yards and ran 48 yards and a touchdown.

Ludington will next host Manistee in a Lakes 8 conference clash next Friday.
