North Muskegon cruises to 8-0 victory in boys soccer, advances to district semis

The North Muskegon boys soccer team advanced in Division 4 districts after blanking Big Rapids Crossroads 8-0 on Thursday.

The Norse will play Lakeview in the district semifinals on Tuesday.

Dylan Schultz paced North Muskegon with two goals while Jack Injerd had a goal and an assist.

Chase Kiel, Tyler Lindell, Brandon Winter, Cole Johnson and Maverick Mylenek each chipped in with a goal for the Norse.

North Muskegon’s goalkeeper Leighton Hunt earned a shutout victory.

The Norse improved to 7-7 overall on the season.
