The Ravenna football team blanked Shelby 57-0 in a West Michigan Conference game on Friday.

The Bulldogs are now 3-3 overall and in conference play and will play next week in the opening round of districts.

Ravenna opened the scoring on a six-yard run by Thomas McCullough to give the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead.

The Bulldogs scored 18 points during the second quarter to take a 25-0 advantage at halftime.

Joel Emery caught a 16-yard pass from Kyle Beebe for a touchdown, McCullough scored on a 35-yard rush and Steven Cook added a four-yard touchdown run.

Ravenna added 19 third quarter points to take a 44-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Tristan Witt scored on 14-yard run, Hunter Hogan had a 23-yard rushing score and Austin Brown added a 30-yard touchdown run.

The Bulldogs closed out the scoring with a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter on a 28-yard run by Clay Schullo and a 64-yard rush by Drew Mabrito.

McCullough led Ravenna’s offense with 65 rushing yards and two touchdowns on three attempts.

Hogan rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown on three attempts and converted three extra-point kicks.

Kevin Spoelman headed defensively with six solo tackles.
