Reeths-Puffer football team improves to 2-2 on the season with a 28-6 victory over GR Union

The Reeths-Puffer football team defeated O-K Green conference rival Grand Rapids Union on Friday, 28-6. 

The victory puts the Rockets at 2-2 overall and in conference competition.

Landon Mecham, Monyae Franklin, Jeremy Ardshadi and Ben Veihl each scored touchdowns for Reeths-Puffer.

Mechem and Franklin each ran for over 100 yards on the night. Defensively, Justin Nelson recorded eight tackles as well as an interception.

Reeths-Puffer will travel to East Kentwood next week, to replace a conference game against Wyoming that was cancelled.

The Rockets will host Zeeland East the following Friday in their last game of the regular season.
