Spencer Anderson keeps a clean sheet as Oakridge defeats Grant in district opener

The Oakridge soccer team defeated Grant 2-0 on Wednesday night in a Division 3 district opener.

Victor Contreras scored the first goal of the game for the Eagles off a rebound to give Oakridge a 1-0 lead.

Chris Swarts scored the final goal of the game when he netted a goal off a corner kick.

Goalkeeper Spencer Anderson totaled seven saves in the shutout victory.

Oakridge will next host Montague on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Division 3 district semifinals.
