Spring Lake volleyball team captures thrilling five set victory over Unity Christian

The Spring Lake volleyball team defeated Unity Christian in the second round of the O-K Blue Conference tournament on Tuesday night, winning 25-20, 19-25, 12-25, 25-21, 16-14 in a five set classic.

Alicia Mumby led the Lakers with 18 kills, 16 digs, three blocks and two aces while Emma Nicles totaled 13 kills and Lily Garrison totaled seven kills.

Kendra Kieft led Spring Lake with 37 digs while Meah Bajt added 18 digs and Makenna Glombowski contributed 16 digs and four aces.

Spring Lake is now 5-15 on the season and 3-5 in conference play.
