The Mona Shores volleyball team continued its solid season with an O-K Green Conference win over Grand Rapids Union on Thursday night.

The Sailors won by set scores of 25-5, 25-6 and 25-12 to maintain unbeaten in conference play.

Grace Norris led Mona Shores offensively with 10 kills and 11 assists, while Brooke LeRoux had seven kills and Bri Wade chipped in with five kills.

The Sailors were led defensively by Olivia Sobczak with six digs, while Norris contributed with five digs and a block.

Mona Shores is now 11-1 overall on the season and 6-0 in conference action.

O-K GREEN CONFERENCE

REETHS-PUFFER 3, WYOMING 0 – The Rockets won by set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 26-24.

Brianna Stawski led offensively for Reeths-Puffer with 11 kills along with three aces, while Allie Moore had a team-leading five aces.

Stawski led defensively with eight digs, while Tessa Lamphere and Beth Jordan each added seven. Jordan also chipped in with 26 assists.

Reeths-Puffer is now 7-5 overall and 5-1 in conference play.

ZEELAND EAST 3, MUSKEGON 0 – The Big Reds were defeated by scores of 6-25, 8-25 and 12-25 in an O-K Green Conference game.

Kailyn Nash had two kills for Muskegon while Taylor Carson had eight assists.

Nash also added nine digs for the Big Reds and Aahlayah Sandifer added five.

O-K BLUE CONFERENCE

HOLLAND CHRISTIAN 3, SPRING LAKE 0 – The Lakers were defeated by scores of 17-25, 15-25, 25-27 in an O-K Blue Conference matchup.

Alicia Mumby had nine kills to lead Spring Lake while Emma Nicles recorded six.

Kyla Kobylak served up 17 assists along with three aces for the Lakers and Kendra Kieft served up three aces.

Kieft held strong defensively with 14 digs, Mumby had 12 digs and three blocks and Meah Bait recorded 10 digs.

The loss moves Spring Lake to 2-9 overall and 1-4 in league play.

COOPERSVILLE 3, FRUITPORT 1 – The Trojans were defeated by service scores of 23-25, 25-23, 17-25 and 13-25 in an O-K Blue Conference matchup.

Brooke Sieplinga led the Trojan offense with eight kills while Sydney Woods added seven kills to go with three aces. Jenna VanderVelde set her teammates up with 23 assists and Anna Bol had five aces.

Sarah Zielinski led Fruitport defensively with 12 digs while Kylie Rudolph chipped in with seven Emily Oberlin and Brooke Sieplinga each added two blocks apiece.

The Trojans are now 3-12 on the season and 1-5 in conference play.

ALLIANCE LEAGUE

WYOMING POTTERS HOUSE 3, FRUITPORT CAVARY 0 – The Eagles lost by scores of 23-25, 15-25 and 22-25.

Emmalee Dykman paced Calvary offensively with seven kills while Bekah Dukes chipped in with 16 assists.

Dukes led the Eagles defensively with 15 digs and Dykman contributed with five blocks.

Fruitport Calvary is now 6-4-1 on the season and 4-1 in Alliance Conference play.

WEST MICHIGAN D LEAGUE

MANISTEE CATHOLIC 3, PENTWATER 1 – The Falcons lost by serve scores of 28-26, 23-25, 17-25 and 17-25 on Thursday in West Michigan D league competition.

Jocelyn Richison led Pentwater with eight kills while Mikaylyn Kenney added six. Haidyn Adams chipped in with 19 assists.

The Falcons were paced defensively by Sam Schaefer with six digs.

Pentwater is now 5-1 on the season and 4-1 in league action.

NON-LEAGUE

RAVENNA 3, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 1 – The Bulldogs won on Thursday by service scores of 25-27, 25-22, 19-25 and 17-25 in non-league action.

Muskegon Catholic was paced by Erin LaVigne with 11 kills and four aces, Claire LaVigne with 30 assists and Emma Maierhauser with 10 digs.

The Crusaders are now 3-5 overall and 1-2 in Lakes 8 action.

O-K RED CONFERENCE 

WEST OTTAWA 3, GRAND HAVEN 0 – The Bucs lost by scores of 25-19, 25-10 and 25-20 on Thursday.

Ashlyn Pahl led Grand Haven with 10 kills while Samantha Boeve chipped in with 30 assists. Hallie Rittel and Boeve had 21 and 15 digs, respectively.
