The Whitehall volleyball continued a strong season with a 3-0 effort in a quad Saturday. The Vikings faced stiff competition, but topped Fruitport (23-25, 25-23, 27-25), Grand Rapids Catholic Central (18-25, 25-19, 25-23) and White Cloud (25-19, 23-25, 25-15). 

Ryleigh Mott led the team with 68 digs and nine aces. Charlie Baker had a team-high 21 kills and 46 digs, while Maggie Evans had 36 digs and 20 kills and Charley Klint had 20 kills. 

Maggie Evans had 88 assists.

Whitehall is now 13-3 on the season. 

Spring Lake goes 1-2 at quad — The Lakers traveled to Forest Hills Northern for a quad and went 1-2 on the day. Spring Lake fell to Grandville (19-25, 10-25), beat the host Huskies (25-23, 21-25, 17-16) and lost to West Ottawa (11-2, 15-25).

Alicia Mumby led Spring Lake with 36 kills, 20 digs, nine blocks and two aces. Meah Bajt had 28 digs, while Kendra Kieft had 27 digs. Kyla Kobylak had 54 assists.

The Lakers are 3-11 overall and 1-4 in the O-K Blue.

Ludington 3-0, Hart 0-3 at weekend quad — Hart hosted Ludington, Pine River and Onekama for a quad Saturday. The Orioles went 3-0 on the day, while the Pirates were 0-3.

Ludington topped Onekema (25-11, 25-4), Hart (25-16, 25-14) and Pine River (25-17, 25-20) to go undefeated on the day. De’Lahna Porter led the Orioles with 27 kills, 10 blocks and seven digs on the day. Elena Vaara had 17 kills, five blocks and four aces. Veronique Chapman had 50 assists and 14 digs, while Leelyn Laird had 14 digs, six kills and five blocks. 

The Orioles are 11-9 on the season and 2-1 in Lakes 8 Conference play. 

Hart fell to Pine River (25-20, 21-25, 7-25) and lost to Onekama (15-25 and 23-25). Ariana Borrego led the Pirates with 23 digs, while Cassidy Copenhaver had a team high eight kills to go with 13 digs. Finley Kistler had 18 assists and eight aces, while Rylee Noggle had six kills and five digs. Avery Beahum had six kills, five digs and four aces. 

The Pirates are now 5-10, including 1-4 in the West Michigan Conference. 

North Muskegon goes 2-1 in quad — The Norse picked up a pair of wins in a quad Saturday. They topped Traverse City St. Francis (25-18, 18-25, 25-22) and Northpointe Christian (25-19, 25-14, 25-21) and lost to Schoolcraft (14-25, 18-25, 23-25).

Syann Fairfield led the team with 62 kills and 31 digs on the day. Natalie Pannucci had 17 kills and six blocks, while Emma Houseman picked up 98 assists, Megan Houseman added 27 digs and Josee Cooke collected five aces.

North Muskegon is now 13-5 on the season. 

Hesperia goes 2-1 at Kenowa Hills quad — The Panthers picked up a pair of wins in hard fought matches Saturday. Hesperia beat Kenowa Hills (11-25, 28-26, 15-7), topped Comstock Park (25-16, 21-25, 15-10) and fell to Allendale (15-25, 25-16, 11-15). 

Emily Bayle led the Panther effort with 24 digs, 22 kills and six aces. Brooke Billings had 13 kills, while Rachel Romero had 18 digs and nine kills. Kyra Sayer had 24 assists to lead Hesperia.

The Panthers are now 10-8 overall and 4-1 in conference play. 

Mona Shores goes 0-3 at quad — The Sailors were competitive against some good teams, but went 0-3 in a quad Saturday. Mona Shores lost to Forest Hills Eastern (1-25, 25-27), Rockford (25-19, 10-25, 12-15) and East Grand Rapids (12-25, 23-25).

Ava Dunn led the team with 12 kills and seven blocks. Brooke LeRoux had 25 digs and 14 kills, while Holli Brus had 25 digs and Grace Norris had 30 assists, 15 digs, seven kills and four aces.

Mona Shores is now 11-4 overall, including 6-0 in conference play. 

WMC goes 1-2 in Bronson quad — Western Michigan Christian volleyball went 1-2 Saturday, with a win over Bronson (25-21, 25-21, 25-15) and losses to Niles (20-25, 23-25, 21-25) and Onsted (18-25, 23-25, 17-25).

Kyla Wiersema had a team-high 38 kills and added five blocks. Taylor Folkema had 11 digs to lead WMC. Libby Mast had 16 kills and 10 blocks, while Maddie Wiersema had 12 kills and 10 blicks. Kendal Young led the team with six aces. 

The Warriors are 15-7 and 3-0 in conference.  

Montague goes 0-3 at Lowell quad — The Wildcats suffered three defeats in a quad on Saturday, falling to 17-4 on the season. Montague fell to Caledonia (25-19, 26-28, 25-18, 25-11) Ann Arbor Skyline (13-25, 25-22, 15-25, 16-25) and Lowell (17-25, 10-25, 20-25).

Reilly Murphy had 40 kills, 24 digs and four aces to lead the Wildcats. Ally Hall had 23 kills and 21 digs. Morgan Netcott had a team-high 44 digs, while Reagan Murphy had 35 digs and 12 kills.
