The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team defeated Whitehall 25-20, 26-24, 19-25 and 31-29 on Wednesday night in a Greater Muskegon Athletic Association volleyball tournament opening round match.
Kyla Wiersema led the Warriors with 18 kills, 13 digs, four blocks and one ace while Alisha Leffring added 17 kills, four blocks and two aces.
Kendal Young led Western Michigan Christian with 46 assists.
Charley Baker led the Vikings with 17 digs and 13 kills while Charley Klint totaled 12 kills of her own.
Maggie Evans finished with 16 assists on the night for Whitehall while Ryleigh Mott totaled 28 digs.
The Vikings are now 14-6 overall on the season.
