Muskegon Catholic volleyball team exits state tournament with a regional semifinal loss to Fowler

The Muskegon Catholic volleyball team ended its season with a 3-0 loss to state-ranked Fowler on Tuesday in a Division 4 regional semifinal match in Mount Pleasant.

The set scores of the match were 25-7, 24-11, 25-18.

Maria Modaff paced MCC with five kills while Alena Martin and Erin LaVigne added two apiece. Claire LaVigne served one ace.

Defensively, Emma Maierhauser and Erin LaVigne had 10 and 9 digs, respectively, for MCC. Modaff had one block.

Muskegon Catholic finished the season with a 17-9 record and a Division 4 district championship.
