It took the North Muskegon volleyball team four sets to advance to a Division 3 district title game.

The Norse defeated Kent City by scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-18 to improve to 23-12 on the season.

Syann Fairfield led the Norse with 28 kills with Natalie Pannucci added 12. Emma Houseman also tallied 51 assists on the night.

North Muskegon was paced defensively by Megan Houseman with 20 digs while Grace VanderWoude put up another 16.

The Norse will face Western Michigan Christian on Thursday for a chance to win a district title.
