Monday bowling roundup: Ravenna girls squeak by Oakridge with multiple strong performances on the lanes

The Ravenna girls bowling team edged out Oakridge 18-12 on Monday in a competitive matchup.

Mae Mabrito led the Bulldgos with a series score of 326 while Liberty WIllick had a game high score of 188.

Rounding out the Ravenna scores were Emily Linck with 162 and Alison Phillips with 161.

GIRLS

FRUITPORT 30, MUSKEGON 0 – The Fruitport girls bowling team was dominant on Monday, defeating and shutting out Muskegon 30-0.

Brynna Hanson and Kali Lockhart each led the Trojans with game scores of 172 while teammate Avery Wilks scored 171.

BOYS

FRUITPORT 27.5, MUSKEGON 2.5 – Cameron Weaver paced the Trojan boys with a series score of 465 on Monday.

Evan Simonis totaled a series score of 445 while Jray Conklin had a game score of 186.

OAKRIDGE 16.5, RAVENNA 13.5 – Dylan Gordon paced Ravenna with a game score of 201 in a loss on Monday.

Rounding out the Ravenna scores were Marshall Kiester with 194, Nick McMahon with 161 and Brandon McFareen with 130.
