The Hart girls basketball team ended its season with a 58-36 loss to Glen Lake on Wednesday in a Division 3 regional championship game.
The Pirates were doomed by a slow start, trailing 15-0 at the end of the first quarter. Hart was behind 32-17 at halftime and 50-28 entering the fourth quarter.
Jayd Hovey scored 16 points for the Pirates, while teammate Mariana VanAgtmael finished with 13 points on the night.
Hart finished the season with a 16-5 record and a Division 3 district championship.
