David Shillinger topped off Ludington’s 10-point comeback run with a twelve-foot jump shot to take the lead with two seconds on the clock to propel the Orioles to a 37-35 win over Cadillac on Saturday in a D2 district title game.

The teams ended the first quarter tied 12-12, then Ludington took the lead 21-16 going into halftime.

The Vikings responded in the third quarter, taking the lead 26-23 at the end of the stanza before Ludington closed out the game with a 14-9 run.

Peter LaCombe paced the Orioles with 17 points on the night, and Shillinger added another 12.

The Orioles improved to 12-5 on the season and will play Ogemaw Heights in a regional semifinal game on Tuesday night
