Grand Haven hockey team shuts down Jenison, stays atop conference race

The Grand Haven hockey team continued its winning ways with an 8-0 shutout of Jenison on Wednesday. 
 
Using a 3-0 first period lead, the Bucs shot out of the gate led by Braden Nielsen. The senior forward tallied four goals and two assists in the win.
 
Grand Haven goalie Aiden Steele posted the shutout as the Bucs outshot Jenison 28-10. 
 
Tristen Goss and Cohen Trnka also led the Bucs, each with a goal and two assists. 
 
Gavin Cunningham had a goal and an assist, Luke Rantanen added a goal while Dolan Smits posted three assists and Zachary Mitchell had two.
