Hart wrestling team wins district title with pair of big wins Thursday night

The Hart wrestling team captured a Division 3 district title Thursday night with a pair of dominant wins. The Pirates beat Benzie Central 75-3 and topped Reed City 78-6.

A dozen grapplers went 2-0 for the Pirates Thursday. Bryce Jorissen, Trenton Swihart, Trayce Tate, Austin Martinez, Koy Bronkema, Spencer Vanderzwaag, Mason Cantu, Zane Thomas, Thomas Tanner, Leo Guadarrama, Angel Garza-Perez and Braeden Carskadon each picked up a pair of wins.

Tanner earned his 100th career victory on the night as well.
