The Muskegon boys basketball team defeated Kalamazoo Central 56-55 on Saturday in a non-conference clash.

The Big Reds tied the game at 55-55 with 13.9 seconds remaining when sophomore Jordan Briggs knocked down a corner three-pointer.

After Kalamazoo Central missed a free throw, Briggs hit a free-throw of his own with just seconds remaining to give the Big Reds the win.

Maurice Sain Jr led he Big Reds with 14 points while Briggs totaled 13. Anthony Sydnor III and Ethan Hill each had 12 points for Muskegon while Hill also added 11 rebounds.
