Ludington boys basketball uses big first half run to advance into division 2 regional finals

The Ludington boys basketball team advanced to the Division 2 regional finals on Tuesday with a 67-49 win over Ogemaw Heights. 

Despite falling behind 15-5 to start the game, Ludington jumped back into the fray with a 30-5 run to close out the first half with a 35-20 lead. 

The Orioles (13-5) continued to build their lead in the third quarter and led 54-34 to start the fourth. 

Peyton LaCombe and David Shillinger both paced Ludington with 17 points. 

Ludington now faces Escanaba (16-2) in the regional finals on Thursday.
