The Mona Shores hockey team got paybacks on Wednesday night with a 5-2 win over East Grand Rapids, the lone team who has beaten the Sailors this season.
The Sailors used three unanswered second-period goals to down the Pioneers and improved to 10-1.
Mona Shores was led by sophomore forward Jake Nanna who had two goals and an assist in the win. Andrew Taylor tallied three assists while Trent Benedict and Ty Langlois each had a goal and an assist.
Landon Taylor also scored for the Sailors and Isaac Habetler added an assist.
TJ Habetler posted the win in goal for Mona Shores.

The Grand Haven/Spring Lake hockey team hosted Jenison on Wednesday night. Results were not provided but photographer Kelly Gates was on hand for the action.
