The Kent City girls basketball team extended their undefeated record to 12-0 on Monday night with a 54-29 non-conference victory over Muskegon.

Kenzie Bowers paced the Eagles with 21 points on the night while Jenna Harrison chipped in 14 and Maddie Geers finished with 11.

Kent City led 17-9 after the first quarter of play, and 28-19 going into halftime. The Eagles took control in the third quarter, outscoring the Big Reds 21-8 to take a 42-27 lead into the final quarter.

The Big Reds were led by Kailyn Nash with 15 points.

Muskegon falls to 7-6 overall and remains 7-2 in conference play.

OAKRIDGE 41, FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 24-Oakridge picked up a non-conference victory over Fruitport Calvary in the battle of the Eagles on Monday night. 

Oakridge jumped out to a 10-7 lead after the first quarter and led 19-12 at halftime. Oakridge extended the lead to 33-20 at the end of the third quarter. 

Kayla Stewart paced Oakridge with 10 points. Kaelinn Jozsa scored eight points, while Delaney Ruel chipped in with seven points. 

Oakridge improves to 5-6 overall and remains 3-6 in West Michigan Conference play.

WHITEHALL 56, FREMONT 41-The Vikings picked up a non-conference victory over the Packers on Monday night. 

The Vikings jumped out to a 21-2 lead after the first quarter. The Packers battled back in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 31-20 at halftime. The Vikings led 45-28 after the third quarter. 

Greta Hosticka paced the Vikings with 16 points, while Karleigh Jefferies chipped in with 12 points. 

The Packers were led by Calla Miller with 15 points, while Kaitlynn Bennet finished with seven points. 

The Vikings improve to 7-5 overall and remain 5-4 in conference play while the Packers fall to 3-9 overall, and remain 3-7 in conference play.

SHELBY 45, NORTH MUSKEGON 33 – Kendall Zoulek scores 22 points as the Tigers picked up a conference victory over the Norse in West Michigan Conference action Monday night. 

The Tigers jumped out to a 26-16 halftime lead before outscoring the Norse 11-4 in the third quarter to take a 37-20 lead.

Lexi Schultz finished with six points for the Tigers while Ella Olmstead and Aubrey Klotz recorded five points. 

The Norse were led by Syann Fairfield, who recorded a double double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Molly Stewart finished with nine points. 

The Tigers are now 6-5 overall, and 5-4 in conference play. The Norse fall to 3-7 overall, and 2-7 in conference play.

CADILLAC 42, LUDINGTON 37-The Orioles fall to Cadillac in non-conference action on Monday night.

The Orioles trailed 21-8 after the first quarter and 27-12 at halftime. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Orioles trailed 37-23. 

RyAnn Rohrer paced the Orioles with 14 points while Keelyn Laird finished with 12 points.

The Orioles fall to 9-3 overall and are still 6-0 in conference play.
