Saturday girls basketball roundup: Montague completes perfect regular season with big victory over North Muskegon

The Montague girls basketball team completed a perfect 14-0 regular season on Saturday with a 59-26 victory over North Muskegon.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 10-3 lead after the first quarter before leaing 30-11 at halftime which gave the Norse a deficit it wouldn’t overcome.

Braqueele Osborne led Montague (14-0, 13-0) with 18 points while Andie Zamojcin added 12 and Janae Koetje added 10.

North Muskegon (4-10, 3-10) was led by Jena Francis with nine points.

MONA SHORES 76, HOLLAND 49 – Riley Rosenthal set a career high and tied a school record with six three-pointers in a victory on Saturday.

Rosenthal finished with 29 points on the day to lead the Sailors (12-3, 11-3) while Olivia Sobczak added 13 points.
