The Mason County Central boys basketball team’s Cinderella postseason run came to an end on Tuesday with a 74-51 loss to Beaverton in a Division 3 regional 
semifinal game.
A slow first half plagued the Spartans in the loss. They trailed 21-11 after the first quarter and 43-19 by halftime.
Will Chy led MCC with 17 points and five rebounds, Zach Draper added 14 points and Jayden Perrone chipped in 11 points.
The Spartans finished the season with a 3-13 record and a district title.
