The Montague girls basketball team improved its undefeated record to 14-0 overall and 13-0 in West Michigan Conferene play with a 52-47 victory over Shelby.

The Wildcats overcame a 15-9 first quarter deficit to outscore Shelby 43-32 over the next three quarters.

Braquelle Osborne led Montague with 14 points and five assists while Andie Zamojcin added 10 points and four rebounds. Ally Hall finished with nine points and seven rebounds.

Shelby was paced by Kendall Zoulek with 22 points, nine rebound and three steals while Lexi Schultz totaled 10 points.

NORTH MUSKEGON 38, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 18 – The North Muskegon girls basketball team used a 20-2 second quarter advantage to pick up a victory.

Syann Fairfield led the Norse (4-8, 3-8) with 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals while olly Stewart added nine points.

Mason County Central was paced by Wren Nelson, Jaden Petersen and Alivia Steiger who all finished with four points.

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 75, HART 34 – Three double-digit scoring performances including two twenty plus point performances helped the Warriors pick up a win.

Maddie Wiersema led the Warriors with 22 points and nine rebounds while Taylor Folkema added 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Kyla Wiersema finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Hart was led by Aspen Boutell with eight points and Jayd Hovey with seven points.

MESICK 39, PENTWATER 20 – A 26-11 second half disadvantage took the Falcons down.

Mikaylyn Kenney led Pentwater with seven points and six rebounds while Haidyn Adams added five points and five rebounds.
