Montague uses timely offense and great pitching to take down Muskegon Catholic in non-conference clash

The Montague baseball team defeated Muskegon Catholic Central 2-0 on Wednesday in a competitive non-conference clash.

Kade Johnson picked up the win for the Wildcats whle allowing three hits and striking out six over five innings of work.

Trey Mikkelsen picked up the save, allowing one hit and striking out two in one inning.

Colton Blankstrom led the Montague offense with three hits including a double while also having an RBI. Aidan Buchberger and Dylan Everett each had a run scored.
