The Norton Muskegon girls tennis team captured the title at the Reeths-Puffer Invitational on Saturday by winning first place in all four singles flights, as well as one doubles flight.

The Norse finished with 20 points, followed by Grand Rapids West Catholic with 15, Reeths-Puffer with 11 and Muskegon Catholic with 2.

Singles flight champions for North Muskegon were Alicia Hall (No. 1), Noa Bowen (No. 2), Lia Lindsay (No. 3) and Francine Vinson (No. 4).

The No. 1 doubles team of Gabby Gaston and Sarah Muzzy also took first place.

SPRING LAKE 4, GR WEST CATHOLIC 4 – Winners for the Lakers in the tied match on Monday were Taylor Duer (No. 1 singles), Maddy Deur (No. 2 singles), Gabriella Bush (No. 3 singles), and the team of Zoe Walters and Taylor Gates (No. 4 singles).

REETHS-PUFFER 5, LUDINGTON 3 – Ludington lost the match but did well in doubles, winning three of four flights. Emman McKinley and Lillian Kolb won their No. 1 doubles match in three tough sets, as did Rachel Sarto and Hannah Filter at No. 2 doubles. The Orioles’ No. 3 doubles team of Meg Ruba and Sophia Sarto won in straight sets.
