The Oakridge softball squad remained unbeaten on the season with a pair of wins over Hesperia on Tuesday night by scores of 13-2 and 16-0 in a double header sweep.

In Game 1, Brooklyn Galdeen pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts, while giving up two runs on two hits.

Galdeen also went 3-for-4 from the plate, recording a double and knocking in four runs.

Jasmine Pastor also had two RBIs for Oakridge, while Delaney Ruel added two hits and Lily Blackburn recorded a double.

In Game 2, Kaelinn Jozsa tossed a complete game shutout while having eight strikeouts and allowing two hits.

Josza also hit her first career home run and had four RBIs on the game. Jasmine Pastor and Delaney Ruel each had two RBIs as well.

The sweep improves Oakridge record to 4-0 on the season.

LUDINGTON 6-3, FREMONT 9-2 – Ludington and Fremont split a doubleheader on Tuesday evening.

Lilli Goodrich pitched a complete game in the loss for Ludington in Game 1, recording a whopping 14 strikeouts while also walking seven and allowing four hits.

Rebecca Szoboszlay went 1-for-4 with two RBIs while Madisyn Wysong, Brynn Cole and Kendra Gilchrist all had an RBI each.

In the bottom of the 7th, Ludington left the bases loaded but failed to cash in for a comeback.

In Game 2, Goodrich had another complete game, this time tossing six strikeouts while only giving up two hits. Goodrich also had the game winning two-RBI triple in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Szoboszlay also recorded another RBI while Brynn Cole had one as well.

The Orioles are now 1-4 overall on the season.
