The Fruitport girls tennis team fell narrowly 5-3 to West Catholic in a conference clash on Wednesday night.

Winning matches for the Trojans were Alison Blakeman (No.1 singles), Hope Busscher (No.2 singles) and Grace Sweet (No.3 singles).

WHITEHALL 8, FREMONT 0 – The Whitehall girls tennis team was dominant on Wednesday, defeating Fremont 8-0.

Winning singles matches for the Vikings were Lily Groessl (No.1 singles), Kenedy Woodring (No.2 singles), Lucy Zamojcin (No.3 singles) and Mackenzie Hall (No.4 singles).

Winning doubles teams for Whitehall were Jennifer Mark and Lacey Herbert (No.1 doubles), Sarah VanDam and Autumn Ferris (No.2 doubles), Mylee Boyd and Chloe Christensen (No.3 doubles) and the team of Ellie Britton and Elizabeth Bentz (No.4 doubles).

MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 7, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 1 – Alaina Kohley (No.1 singles), Grace Rennells (No.2 singles), and Mackenna Pratt (No.3 singles) all won their matchups on Wednesday.

Also winning in doubles for the Crusaders were Andrea Sanford and Emma Maierhauser (No.1 doubles), Claire LaVigne and Elana LaGuire (No.2 doubles), Grace DeLong and Cara Burkall (No.3 doubles) along with the team of Ella Muskovin and Madison Bonnema (No.4 doubles).
