The Mona Shores softball team swept Montague 6-2 and 11-7 on Saturday in a non-conference clash.

Kristen Hylland picked up the win in Game 1, allowing no earned runs and striking out seven.

Hannah Geoghan was 3-for-3 with two RBIs while Elizabeth Savacool and Brooklyn Graham each had home runs.

Savacool, Macey Spaniola and Mia Geoghan each had a home run in the nightcap while Spaniola picked up her first win on the mound.

OAKRIDGE 14-20, SPRING LAKE 7-5 – Mal Whipple led the Eagles in Game 1 with three hits including a double.

Jasmine Pastor had two hits and two RBIs while Andrea Romero had two hits and three RBIs.

In the nightcap, Brooklyn Galdeen totaled four hits including one home run and one double while also adding two RBIs.

Andrea Romero had two hits including a home run while totaling five RBIs.

Oakridge is now 8-0 on the season.

RAVENNA GOES 1-1 – The Ravenna softball team lost 5-4 to Coopersville but defeated Fremont 10-2 on Saturday.

Liberty Willick had three hits agasint Coopersville while Kara Postema had two hits and three RBIs.

In Game 2, Postema had two hits and four RBIs while Emma Gilliard had two hits and two RBIs.

Ravenna is now 3-1 overall on the season.

LUDINGTON DROPS ONE, WINS ONE – The Ludington softball team lost 8-1 to Farwell before defeating Chippewa Hills 12-6.

Brynn Fortner went 2-for-2 to lead the Orioles against Farwell.

Keeley Curtis had two hits and three RBIs while also scoring a run in the nightcap. Sam Henson had two hits four RBIs and a run scored as well.

Ludington is now 2-7 overall on the season.
