The Spring Lake lacrosse team fell to West Ottawa 15-8 in non-conference action on Tuesday night.
The game was tied at halftime before West Ottawa pulled away with five unanswered goals during the third quarter.
Zach Mitchell led the Lakers with four goals and an assist. Sam Schafer recorded a goal and an assist, while Jake Vinkemulder, Tyler Tenbrink and Ian Brown each scored a goal apiece.
The Lakers fell to 2-2 overall, and remain 1-1 in conference play.
