The West Michigan Whitecaps wrapped up their series at Wisconsin on Sunday with a 4-0 shutout victory.
With the victory, the Whitecaps finished the series winning four of the six total games between the two teams.
On Sunday, Jose King hit a sacrifice fly to score Dillon Dingler in the fourth inning to give the Whitecaps a 1-0 lead.
In the sixth inning, Reynaldo Rivera hit a two run home run and Corey Joyce singled home King to make the score 4-0 which was ultimately the final.
Five Whitecaps pitchers combined to shutout Wisconsin, allowing just six hits and two walks while also totaling nine strikeouts.
Rivera and Eliezer Alfonzo combined to lead the Whitecaps offense with two hits each on the day.
Alfonzo came into the game after Spencer Torkelson appeared to leave with an injury.
The Whitecaps who are now 8-9 overall on the season will be off Monday before hosting Lake County on Tuesday to begin a six game series. First pitch on Tuesday is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
