Emily Olson found the goal twice to lead the North Muskegon girls soccer team to a tight 2-1 victory over a good Ludington squad on Friday.

Hope Johnson and Jaley Schultz both had assists for the Norse.

Ludington’s Sophia Cooney scored off a pass from Riley Stone, stopping the Norse from getting a shutout. Oriole goalie Anyssa Castaneda made 15 saves on the night.

The Orioles finished their regular season with a 14-5 record..

REETHS-PUFFER 7, WYOMING 0 – Faith McMillan scored a hat trick to help the Rockets defeat O-K Green rival Wyoming in a Thursday night game.

McKenna Monette added two goals on the night, and Megan Barmes and Sophia Hekkema each scored as well. Hekkema, Lexi Stephenson, Savanah Parker and Kylie Kinnuncan each had assists.

Tessa Lamphere and Ava Klopp shut out the Wolves as goalkeepers.

Reeths-Puffer improved to 7-4-5 for the season.

KENT CITY 5, FREMONT 1 – Kent City took a strong lead against the Packers, scoring three goals in the first half before Fremont could answer. Alaina Watcher put the Packers on the board with a single goal, but the Eagles answered with two more goals to seal the win.

Fremont’s Macey Powers made 10 saves in the net to hold the Eagles to five goals.

Fremont fell to 3-10-2, while Kent City improved to 8-6-2.
