The Ludington baseball team won its fourth straight Larson Ace Hardware Tournament on Saturday, defeating Hart 21-2 and Mason County Central 7-5.

In Game 1, Jacob Irelan picked up the win, allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out five over four innings. Irelan added three hits and three RBIs for the Oriole offense while Jake Lamm drove in three runs and totaled two hits.

Wilson Gunsell had three hits and two RBIs for Ludington.

In the nightcap, Hayden Madl pickedup the win, allowing one run on two hits over two innings of work.

Brad Mesyar led the Oriole offense with three hits and two RBIs while Gabe Hogenson had two hits and two RBIs.

Ludington is now 10-6 overall and remain 4-2 in Lakes 8 Conferene action.

Hart recovered from the 21-2 loss by defeating Mason County Eastern 21-0 in the third place game.

The win is the Pirates first of the season.

Kyan Clark led the Hart offense with six RBIs and a piar of hits. Brandon VanderZanden finished with two hits and two RBIs of his own while Blake Weirich totaled two hits and two RBIs.
