Monday girls soccer roundup: Grand Haven edges Grandville while Fremont wins big

The Grand Haven girls soccer team defeated Grandville 1-0 on Monday night in a highly competitive conference clash.

Leah Huyler had the lone goal of the game while Lindsey Smeyers picked up the win in net for Grand Haven.

With the victory, Grand Haven is now 9-5-4 overall and 9-2-3 in conference play.

FREMONT 5, LAKEVIEW 1 – Lyllian Craig had a hat trick to lead the Packers to a conference victory on Monday.

Trinity Freirks totaled two goals on the day to round out the Fremont scoring.

Fremont is now 4-10-2 overall with the victory.
