The Ravenna softball team swept a doubleheader with Hesperia on Monday, winning 7-1 and 11-9.

In Game 1, Laney Mabrito had four hits including two doubles while Liberty Willick had two hits.

Emma Gillard picked up the Game 1 win, allowing one run on two hits while striking out nine.

In Game 2, Gillard had three hits including a triple while Mabrito, Kara Postema and Raven Millis all added two hits.

HOLTON 3-16, MONTAGUE 0-1 – Ryan Robins, Kendall Greene, Kylie Gould, Courtney Boes and Abby Fowler all had one hit to lead Holton in a Game 1 victory.

Robins and Fowler combined to shutout Montague on the mound, allowing two hits and striking out 10.

In Game 2, Robins led the offense with two hits while Kylie Gould gave up just two hits in the victory.
Holton is now 27-6 overall on the season.

PENTWATER 11-16, WALKERVILLE 0-0 – Mackenna Hall led the Falcons in Game 1 with three hits and two RBIs while Mikaylyn Kenney added two triples and one RBI.

Kenney also struck out 14 and allowed just two hits while picking up the victory.

In Game 2, Kenney pitched a three inning no-hitter while striking out eight batters.

Kenney also paced the offense with three hits and four RBis while Crysta Cluchey added two hits and three RBIs.
