The Spring Lake softball team won a back and forth battle with Grand Rapids West Catholic Thursday night. The Lakers rallied in the seventh to come away with an 11-10 win.

Spring Lake scored five runs in the seventh inning to pull ahead and held on for the conference win. 

Freshman Alexa Carter stood out at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI. Avery Flynn drove in three runs, including two in the seventh inning. Eliza Hulverson and Lindsay Smith both had three hits for Spring Lake.

The Lakers are now 3-11 on the season.
