Three players score twice as Reeths-Puffer blows by Muskegon 8-0 to open district play

Three players scored multiple goals for Reeths-Puffer as the Rockets blew past Muskegon, 8-0, in a Division 2 district opener Thursday night.

Emma Dykema, Sophia Hekkema and Faith McMillan each scored twice, while Kylie Kinnucan and Megan Barmes each scored once. Dykema, Hekkema, Ashlynn Anderson, Alyssa Herbert and Irie Niklasch each had an assist in the game.

Emily Champoux was in the net to record a shutout for the Rockets.
Reeths-Puffer moves to 8-5-5 on the season and will face Spring Lake in a district semifinal game Thursday, June 3.
