Thursday soccer roundup: Mona Shores tops Zeeland West, Grand Haven and Hart pick up wins

The Mona Shores soccer team edged Zeeland West to advance to the O-K Green Conference Tournament Finals. The Sailors topped the Dux 2-1 Thursday, advancing to face Zeeland East in the finals.

Riley Rosenthal and Sophia Fisher both scored a goal for Mona Shores, with assists going to Lydia Sowles and Payton Silk.

The Sailors improve to 13-3-1 overall and 9-0 in the O-K Green. 

GRAND HAVEN 2, JENISON 0 — A pair of second half goals pushed the Bucs to an O-K Green win Thursday night.

Carley Wagasky scored the first goal for Grand Haven, followed by a goal by Mia Strohmeyer on a penalty kick. 

Grand Haven is now 8-5-4 on the season, including 8-2-3 in conference play. 

HART 6, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 1 — A four goal performance from Sandy Salgado powered the Pirates to a conference win in the regular season finale.

Julia Greiner had a goal and three assists for the Pirates, while Sydney Goodrich scored once. Kitrena Peters and Liszet Hernandez each had one assist.
